The Dark Element es el proyecto que une a la ex-vocalista de Nightwish Anette Olzon con el guitarrista finés Jani Liimatainen (ex-Sonata Arctica).
La banda lanzará su disco debut homónimo el 10 de noviembre a través de Frontiers Music SRL. El tracklist será el siguiente:
